GALLERY FINISHER CHALLENGE 2018

By Cello 0

Dear all,

I would like to thank you for a fantastic event, for three great stages at beautiful locations. Everything was so well organised and all people and field helper were so kind and helpful, even the communication was a bit difficult as I’m unfortunately not able to speak Italian. Also many thanks esp. to Cello to announce my name when I came out of the water in Noli and the information, that I came from Hamburg to all three events. This was pure motivation J. Also many thanks for the warm words on your website about the story of Anja, who came from a little village to Italy to participate in all three races.

It is of course a recommendation for every open water swimmer to participate here in all three races….(and I have of course some possibilities of comparison): All races were totally different: Monate was crystal clear water with a wonderful landscape around the lake. And the weather was so warm and brilliant. Maccagno was difficult to swim…. The water looked so harmless, but a lot of current in the little waves. And Noli: Well, again crystal clear salt water, swimming with a lot of little fishes on the last meters and an open and relaxed atmosphere.

I learned Italy a bit to know….the trip to Monate was my second trip ever to Italy and I enjoyed it so much. Due to my participation I made three short vacation trips…. I visited Milano for the first time and had the opportunity to see an opera in the Scala. At the Lago Maggiore I spent some days with a very good friend and we enjoyed so much the summer days in Italy and Noli was catching up some rays before a long winter time.

At the moment it is definitively planned to participate next year again. I learned so many others to know and we are happy to meet each other next year again. Of course I made also a lot of promotion for the Copenhagen Swim, which is also very famous.

So thanks or grazie mille again!! It was great! Keep on!

Best regards from Hamburg to Italy!

Anja
